Impressions of Socio-spatial Analysis

This film on DVD shows imperessions of three themes that play a role in the work of the Chair group Socio-spatial Analysis of Wageningen University in The Netherlands. The scientific research and academic education of this group focuses on the people-environment interaction from a social-science perspective, especialy (human) geography, sociology and (environmental) psychology. The film is the complement of the book 'Landscape, Leisure and Tourism', Eburon Delft 2008, ISBN 978-90-5972-299-6

The three themes of the film are: the role of heritage in spatial planning, the contribution of tourism in sustainable development and the meaning of public space for the integration of cultural minorities. The film is also on the internet.
